Prescription medicines
Already have a prescription from your vet?
Find the medicine it was written for, send us the prescription, and one of our vets will check it. Nothing is charged until it is approved.
-
STEP 1
Ask your vet
Any vet can write you a written prescription for a medicine your pet needs. There is usually a small fee for it.
-
STEP 2
Find the medicine
Search below for the name on the prescription. The strength and pack size are on there too.
-
STEP 3
Send it to us
Three ways to do it, below. A vet checks it against the practice that wrote it before anything is supplied.
STEP 3
How to send us your prescription
Choose whichever option is easiest for you.
1. Upload a photo or scan
Take a clear photo or scan of your written prescription and upload it when you pick the medicine below.
Please make sure every detail is readable, including the signature and the date.
2. Post it to us
Send your original written prescription to:
The Night Vet33 Kingley Avenue
TQ2 7GU
We will process it as soon as it reaches us.
Prescriptions are legal documents. Altering, forging or reusing a veterinary prescription is a criminal offence. We check every prescription with the practice that issued it, and we report suspected tampering to the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.
